We’re proud to share a special milestone for the Junk in the Truck team: we were honored with the Newcomer of the Year Award at Rebuilding Together Philadelphia’s Volunteer Appreciation Night.
The award recognizes our team’s involvement with Rebuilding Together and the time and work we’ve been able to contribute as volunteers helping Philadelphia homeowners and the communities they serve.
Giving Back in Philadelphia
Our work with Rebuilding Together has given our team the opportunity to step away from our day-to-day projects and use our skills to give back.
Through our volunteer efforts, we’ve worked alongside Rebuilding Together and other volunteers to help homeowners in Philadelphia. Being able to contribute our time and lend a hand to people in our community is something our entire team is proud to be a part of.
For us, volunteering isn’t just about the work we do on a project. It’s about showing up, working together, and being able to make a difference where we can.
A Recognition for the Whole Team
Receiving the Newcomer of the Year Award was especially meaningful because it represents the people behind the work.
Our crew is the one showing up, putting in the work, and volunteering their time to help. We’re proud of the effort they’ve put into our work with Rebuilding Together and grateful that it was recognized.
While we may be the ones accepting the award, this recognition belongs to the whole Junk in the Truck team.
Thank You, Rebuilding Together Philadelphia
We’re grateful to Rebuilding Together Philadelphia for welcoming our team, giving us the opportunity to volunteer, and recognizing our contribution with the Newcomer of the Year Award.
We’re looking forward to continuing to show up, lend a hand, and support the work Rebuilding Together is doing throughout Philadelphia.
Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible. We’re proud to be part of it.
