Builder Spotlight: Hancock Builders
At Junk in the Truck, we’re proud to work alongside developers who bring both vision and discipline to their projects. This month, we’re spotlighting Hancock Builders and the owner, Enam Abazi, a Philadelphia-based real estate developer and general contractor.
Real estate has always been part of Enam’s life. After being mentored by a family friend, he took the leap to go out on his own — growing Hancock Builders organically through referrals and relationships. Today, their work spans from single-family renovations to larger multifamily developments across Philadelphia.
What sets Hancock Builders apart is their attention to detail and commitment to design. Hancock Builders projects consistently carry a distinct edge, blending thoughtful layouts with high-end, luxury finishes. They thrive in environments where investors place trust in their vision and execution.
When asked about his approach to business, Enam emphasized the importance of honesty and communication:
“Not every client is the right fit, and it’s important to be honest with yourself and the client to build a working relationship. Communication is key between investors and all subcontractors. Speaking with each other and being open allows each step of the project to be successful.”
That mindset is reflected in how Hancock Builders runs its projects — collaborative, transparent, and focused on long-term success.
Outside of work, Enam stays deeply connected to the Philadelphia scene. A self-proclaimed foodie, he enjoys exploring the city’s restaurant scene and networking with others in the industry.
As he puts it, “It all comes back to real estate.”
We’re proud to support Hancock Builders and look forward to continuing to work alongside Enam as he grows his footprint across the region.
