Location: Gloucester City, NJ
Project: 12,000 sq. ft. church interior demolition
Client: Lapstone LLC
Timeline: 1 month
Every successful renovation starts with a solid foundation, and sometimes that means taking a building back to its bare bones.
Junk in the Truck recently completed a full interior gut demolition of a 12,000-square-foot Church on Monmouth Street in Gloucester City, NJ, working alongside Lapstone LLC to prepare the building for its next phase of redevelopment. Vacant for nearly 50 years, the church was filled with decades of accumulated debris, abandoned materials, and deteriorated interior finishes.
With 24-foot ceilings and extensive interior demolition throughout the building, the project required a strategic approach from start to finish. Our crew removed debris, demolished the interior, and prepared the space for future construction while maintaining a safe, organized jobsite throughout the process.
Despite the size and complexity of the project, the demolition was completed within the project’s timeline, allowing the next phase of construction to move forward as scheduled. Projects like this showcase the importance of experienced crews, proper planning, and reliable jobsite support. Whether it’s a large commercial demolition, an interior gut renovation, or a complete cleanout, our goal is always the same: deliver safe, efficient work that helps our partners keep their projects moving.
We’re proud to have partnered with Labstone LLC on this transformation and look forward to seeing the building begin its next chapter.
